From the acclaimed author of Infected comes an epic and exhilarating story of humanity's secret battle against a horrific enemy.

Across America, a mysterious pathogen transforms ordinary people into raging killers, psychopaths driven by a terrifying, alien agenda. The human race fights back, yet after every battle the disease responds, adapts, using sophisticated strategies and brilliant ruses to fool its pursuers. The only possible explanation: the epidemic is driven not by evolution but by some malevolent intelligence.

From deep within the Ravensdeath archives come the horrors of the past...

Classic radio Horror: The Inner Sanctum Mysteries
Inner Sanctum Mysteries was a popular old-time radio program that aired from January 7, 1941 to October 5, 1952. Created by Himan Brown, the anthology series featured stories of mystery, terror and suspense. The tongue-in-cheek introductions were in sharp contrast to shows like Suspense and The Whistler. A total of 526 episodes are known to have been produced. (Wikipedia)

*******************
"Taking its name from a popular series of mystery novels, Inner Sanctum Mysteries debuted over NBC's Blue Network in January 1941.
Inner Sanctum Mysteries featured one of the most memorable and atmospheric openings in radio history: an organist hit a dissonant chord, a doorknob turned and the famous "creaking door" slowly began to open." (Radio hall of Fame)
*******************

Over the years I've shared a lot of classic radio drama of the Horror variety. These days you can find loads of great sites sharing tons of wonderful OTR. Keep watching our frequent "Trick or Treaters" blog roundups to see who is sharing what this season!

(My first set of Inner Sanctum shares has gone missing, I'll re-post it when I find it)

The newest addition to the Dark Horse Archives program, and following on the heels of the return of the legendary Creepy and Eerie , the first hardcover collection is slated for release in 2009.
